UHMW-PE Film Tape AT9324 (Similar to 3M’s 9324)
- Black UHMW-PE Backing: The black UHMW-PE film backing provides durable surface protection while supporting applications where a dark appearance is preferred.
- High-Tack Acrylic Adhesive: The acrylic adhesive provides strong initial bonding to many painted metal and plastic surfaces.
- Excellent Abrasion Resistance: The UHMW-PE surface helps protect against impact wear and sliding abrasion, and can outwear PTFE in many sliding applications.
- Low-Friction Sliding Surface: The low coefficient of friction helps reduce squeaks, rattles, vibration noise, and movement-related wear.
- Die-Cut Friendly Liner: The liner makes the tape suitable for fabrication into custom lengths, strips, pads, and special shapes.

Description
AT9324 is a black UHMW-PE film tape coated with a high-tack acrylic adhesive, designed to help control squeaks, rattles, vibration-related noise, and wear between metal and plastic materials. Its UHMW-PE backing provides excellent abrasion resistance and a low-friction surface, making it suitable for automotive interiors, doors, rim fascia areas, and industrial sliding or wear applications. With strong initial adhesion to many painted metal and plastic surfaces, AT9324 offers reliable surface protection where lubrication is not practical and where a black, durable, die-cuttable tape solution is required.
Key Features
Applications
- Automotive Instrument Panels and Interiors: Used to help reduce squeaks and rattles in automotive interior assemblies.
- Rim Fascia and Painted Metal Areas: Helps reduce noise between rim fascia and painted metal surfaces.
- Automotive Doors: Suitable for reducing movement-related noise in door assemblies.
- Industrial Sliding or Wear Applications: Used where low friction, abrasion resistance, and very high adhesion are required.
- Plastic and Metal Surface Protection: Suitable for sliding-contact areas where lubrication is not possible because of contamination concerns.
