UHMW-PE Film Tape AT2300-5R (Similar to Saint-Gobain CHR 2300-5R)
- Excellent Abrasion Resistance: The UHMW film surface helps protect heavy-wear areas such as bearings, chutes, guide rails, and sliding surfaces.
- Low Coefficient of Friction: The tape provides a smooth, low-friction surface for anti-stick and sliding-contact applications.
- Economical PTFE Alternative: AT2300-5R offers UHMW-based wear protection as a more cost-effective option than PTFE tapes.
- Thermosetting Rubber Adhesive: The high-tack rubber adhesive adheres readily to most dry, clean surfaces and helps anchor the tape firmly in place.
- Die-Cut Friendly Inter-Liner: The film inter-liner protects the adhesive, supports die cutting, and peels off easily during application.

Description
AT2300-5R is a natural UHMW-PE film tape coated with a thermosetting rubber adhesive, designed to provide abrasion-resistant, anti-stick, and low-friction surface protection. With a 0.178 mm total thickness and 0.127 mm UHMW backing, it is suitable for surfaces, bearings, guide rails, chutes, conveyors, and sliding parts exposed to heavy wear. The tape offers a more economical alternative to PTFE tapes while maintaining reliable sliding performance. Its high-tack rubber adhesive bonds readily to clean, dry surfaces, helping keep the tape firmly anchored during industrial use.
Key Features
Applications
- Chutes and Conveyor Liners: Used to line chutes and conveyor surfaces that require abrasion-resistant and anti-friction protection.
- Guide Rail Noise Reduction: Suitable for guide rails, including glass bottling lines, where low-friction protection can help reduce noise.
- Drawer and Sliding Surface Protection: Can replace drawer bearings or protect sliding surfaces to provide smoother, friction-free movement.
- Heavy-Wear Surface Protection: Suitable for surfaces or bearings exposed to repeated wear, sliding contact, or material movement.
