Description

AT5423 is a thick-caliper UHMW-PE film tape designed for demanding abrasion, impact-wear, and sliding applications. Its ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene backing provides a low-friction surface that helps create a smooth slip-plane effect between moving parts, while the rubber adhesive offers strong initial tack for fast bonding to industrial surfaces. The tape is suitable for protecting plastic and metal components, reducing squeaks and rattles, and lining guide rails, chutes, bins, drawers, cabinets, and spray booth surfaces. With a translucent finish and release liner, it is also practical for fabrication and die-cut conversion.
