Description

AT5425 is a thin-caliper UHMW-PE film tape designed for abrasion protection, low-friction sliding, and demanding industrial surface protection. Its translucent UHMW-PE backing helps create a smooth “slip plane” effect between contacting surfaces, reducing wear, squeaks, rattles, and movement-related noise. Compared with rubber adhesive UHMW-PE tapes, AT5425 uses a solvent- and oil-resistant acrylic adhesive, making it suitable for applications requiring higher chemical resistance and durable adhesion. It is suitable for guide rails, chutes, liners, drawers, cabinets, automotive noise reduction, aerospace, printing, MRO, and other sliding or wear-prone applications.
